What BuzzScout does
BuzzScout shows public YouTube videos and Instagram posts that match a keyword, and gives each a score based on its public engagement. Scores are an estimate to help you find ideas, not a promise of how your own post will perform.
What we collect
- Your email address, the keywords you search and when.
- Your IP address, only to enforce the free search limit. It is kept for about a week.
- Your email if you join the Pro waitlist.
We use your email to run the free limit and to send you occasional BuzzScout updates, including when Pro launches. Every email will have a way to unsubscribe. We don't sell your data.
Where the results come from
YouTube results come from the YouTube API Services. By using BuzzScout you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to that data. Instagram results come from public posts collected by a third-party data provider. BuzzScout is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, Instagram, Meta or TikTok.
Fair use
The free plan includes 3 searches a week per person. Please don't use scripts or many accounts to get around this; we may block access that does.
